as you've likely gathered, none of the releases i had planned for december will be coming out. life got in the way, as it famously does

you see, i wrote those dates in the hopes they'd get me off my ass and into Ableton to finish the very many songs that need some finishing touches. i then remained on my ass for the following two months (not really, twas more of a job and travelling about situation, but the point remains the same)

very sorry to disappoint you. i assure you there'll be releases in a short while

nguac 2024 is over! well done to all the participants (⁀ᗢ⁀)

i finished 24th! tis my best performance in the three years (and the first one i've made it past the ko round) i've participated and i'm honestly pretty happy, though honestly all i wanted was not to finish last. i've also learned i really need to process my vocals better (￣▽￣*)ゞ

i am very proud of the songs i've written so, in the end, the numbers don't matter. speaking of:

well, gentlemen, it's happened

i've been knocked out of NGUAC in the knockout round, infamous for being the round where i get knocked out, along with many other people who have also been knocked out

i must say i saw this coming a mile away: songs made in an hour and a half don't tend to shine as much as projects with actual effort put into them. sadly i was extremely uninspired for nearly all of the allocated time and could only pull something out my arse at the very last minute. still, i'm proud of my song so do expect it to be posted to streaming services in a few weeks' time (if you haven't listened to it, here you go) with maybe a few tweaks

i must say it's been a privilege to have even made it past the initial entry barrier, and also coming 28th out of 43 contestants is something to be quite proud of!

my congratulations to the survivors of the great knockoutage of the 2022 NGUAC, and best of luck to all of them! and here's to hoping that next year i'm the one to survive the onslaught
